Sheryl Martin OMD, L.Ac. RN

Sheryl Martin is a Doctor of Oriental Medicine, Licensed Acupuncturist, and Registered Nurse. She graduated from the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine, in San Diego California, and received her doctorate from Samra University of Oriental Medicine in Los Angeles California. She was on the faculty of both the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine (PCOM) in San Diego California and the Maryland Institute for Traditional Chinese Medicine (MITCM) in Bethesda Maryland. She served two terms as Vice Chair of the Maryland State Board of Acupuncture.

Sheryl has been practicing Traditional Chinese Medicine for 22 years, and has worked as a Registered Nurse for 37 years with specialties in women's health, chronic pain management, and psychiatry. She has been speaking, both nationally and locally on varied health topics such as chronic pain management, infertility, natural hormonal regulation, dream work, and how to integrate Chinese Medicine in daily life. She was a co-owner of the Maryland Center for Integrative Medicine, which is now the Johns Hopkins Integrative Medicine and Digestive Center, located at Greenspring Station in Lutherville Maryland.

Sheryl is co-author of the book Tao of Dreaming, a book that teaches self dream interpretation using the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine. She is available for lectures, seminars, and workshops.
